This movie tells a story of a boy -around 9-12 years old - who is having a divorced parents and a dying cancer mother. He even got bullied constantly in school. The boy , Conor, is an angry boy.
One night, he saw a huge monster from a tree who talks to him. The monster will tell 3 stories and then asked Conor to tell 1 story afterwards. Here are some learning from such a depressing plot.
1. "There are always two sides of the story. The one seems a good person is not always a saint. The one seems a bad person is not always a devil. So, never judge what you do not understand. You do not know everything.
Sometimes bad and cruel actions chosen for the good ending for everyone. Sometimes what accused did not really happen that way but the accusation could prevent potential bad things in the future.
Again, the goods can have bad things behind its story. The bads can have good things behind its event.
We .. just accept, never judge and always try do goods"
2. "Religious people with no faith and belief are no religious at all.
Belief is what makes us all alive as a human being. Belief. Stands. Values.
Those who would sacrifice anything to get what they want, is no saint at all.
Always stands on what you believe in"
3. Be Brave To Admit The Truth.
Human choose to believe lies to comfort them. We must Accept The Fact. This every fact about us, and about life.
Although it is ok to feel scared. Anger.
But eventually, again, We Must Accept The Truth and Move On Positively with The Truth.
